He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Eugene and Rhoda Lee Mayberry (May); and his mother-in-law Joan Stone. He is survived by: his children, John David Mayberry of Mount Vernon and Breanna L. Mayberry of Mount Vernon; his granddaughter Alivia Owen; his siblings, Walter Mayberry, Kenny Mayberry, Chris Mayberry, Terry Haynes of Mount Vernon, Nola Mayberry of Marion and Sarah Neal of Effingham, Illinois; and his great-nephew Jeremiah Miller of West Frankfort, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in David's honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
