He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Gray and Joyce E. Gray (Gowler); his daughter Ashley Gray; his brothers, Steve and Darrell Gray; and his nephew Steve Gray.

He is survived by: his son Tyler Gray (Tegan) of Bluford, Illinois; his grandchildren, Dalton Hart, Hunter Gray, Ireland Spiller (Phoenix), Dreydyn Hart, Noelle Gray, Freya Gray and Tayla Gray; his great grandchild Oaklynn Meier; and his brother Scott Gray (Cathy) of Overland Park, Kansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
