He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Nauertz and Dorothy A. Nauertz (Oldham); his wife Linda M. Nauertz (Inman); his brother Garry Nauertz; and his son-in-law Kevin Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Burns (Melissa) of Springfield, IL and Sherie L. Hicks (Burns) of Wayne City, IL; his grandchildren, Carlin Burns, Elsy Burns and Erik Hicks; his siblings, Susan Cecil (Thomas) of Lombard, IL and David Nauertz (Vicki) of Old Fort, NC; and also, Yvette Odom, David Spears and Boulder Stroud. He is also survived by 2 nephews and 1 niece; several brother (s) & sister-in-laws, nephew and nieces of his wife.
