He is survived by: his close friend Janice DePlanty of Mount Vernon; his stepsister Karen Tacke of Paducah Kentucky; his grandchildren, Randall Corners of North Carolina, Bradley Corners (Ellen) of North Carolina, Timothy Corners of North Carolina, Will DePlanty of Clayton and Quinn DePlanty of Clayton, Missouri; and his nephews, Scott Owens (Kelly) of Woodlawn and Bradley Owens (Sheila) of Pennsylvania.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (2400 Broadway St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864).
Memorials may be made in Darrell's honor to Miriam School in Saint Louis, Missouri and will be accepted at the funeral home.
