It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford Eugene Hawkins (Mount Vernon, Illinois), who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Lee and Lois Hawkins (Wolfe); his wife Kathryn Hawkins (Davenport); and his siblings, Judy Wagner and Richard Hawkins.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Heistand of Mount Vernon, Lyndon Hawkins of Mount Vernon, Tracie Blades (Rick) of Tucson and Trent Hawkins of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Melinda Gardner, Rachel Baker, Tara Hawkins, Tricia Hawkins, Brooke Skelton, Trey Young, Bria Young and Travis Blades; and his siblings, Janet Warren of Idaho, Delores Goree of Mount Vernon, Ronnie Hawkins (Shirley) of Mount Vernon, Jeanie Harrison (Larry) of Mount Vernon and Brenda Lawrence of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
