Cleatis Snow Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cleatis Snow of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Talmadge and Nellie Irene Snow (Ackley); his granddaughter Twanna Snow; his great grandchild Duane; his daughter-in-law Twila Snow; his brother David Turner; his stepfather Albert Braddy, Sr.; and his stepsisters, June Newton, Patsy Tolley and Betty Owens.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Snow (Burnett); his children, Diana Boone (Les) of Mount Vernon, Kathy Hulbert (Robert) of Mount Vernon, Rhonda Yeager (Frankie) of Georgetown, Cleatis "Sonny" L. Snow, Jr. of Mount Vernon, Charles "Rusty" Snow (Donna) of Mount Vernon, Steven Snow (Renee) of Mount Vernon and Todd Snow of Nason, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jeremy Boone (Erica), Holli Hodge (Tim), Jacob Boone (Desiree), Robert Hulbert (Stacy), Christie Hawkins (Trymon), Bethanie Snow, Stephanie Reynolds (Charlie), Ivy Lee Napier (Erica), Lance Yeager, Bryan Snow, Tiffany Snow, Tristan Snow, Kenny Ray Snow, Brandon Snow, Jessica, Travis Snow (Amber), Crystal Wilson (Andrew), Emily Snow (Danny), Blake Snow (Kayla), Taylor Martin (Mitch) and Ella Capps; his siblings, Charles R. Snow of Mount Vernon, Albert Braddy of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Dena Lundengreen of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his niece Ann Barciszewski (Dennis) of Radom, Illinois; and his friend Peter Cook. He is also survived by thirty-nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Cleatis' honor to South Hickory Hill Cemetery.
