He is survived by: his daughter Whitney; his grandchildren, Ra'Zeonna Rankin, David Simpson Jr. and Sendaneo R Wallace; his siblings, Tammy Cox, Stephanie of Washington and Jeff of Washington; his nephews, Nicholas Forsee and Edwin Smiley; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamarion Leach, Maessiah Green and Ja'Rylynn Leathers. He is also survived by aunts, uncles cousins, and friends.
