Catherine Irene Thackrey Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Irene Thackrey (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Norris City, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bruce and Mabel Bruce; her husband Bill Thackrey; and her brother Tom Bruce (Carla) of Sun City, Arizona.. She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Thackrey (Marsha) of Mount Vernon and Brian Thackrey (Jane) of Boca Raton, Florida; her grandson Derek Thackrey (Giselle) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; her great grandchild Jack Thackrey of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.; her brother Ralph Bruce (Jean) of East Alton, Illinois; and her close friend Helen Ray of Norris City, Illinois. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
