She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Phelps and Mary Phelps (Effinger); her husband James "Jim" Tinsley; her great grandchild Hank Allen Barriett; and her siblings, Fred Phelps Jr., William Phelps, Rosanna Bryant, Lorene Reeves, Imogene Utley, Betty Lewis, Mary Catherine Duncan and Margie Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Candie Grabert (Gene), Kristina Phillips (Michael) and James M. Tinsley (Donna); and her grandchildren, Jimmy Tinsley (Jennifer), Brent Tinsley, Melissa Barriett (Chad), Sarah Grabert, Abbie McCarty (Daniel) and Dustin Phillips (Stephanie). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
