We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2022, at the age of 80, Carolyn June True (Mount Vernon, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Murphy; her former husband James N. Lemons; her brothers, Elmer, Terry and Ralph Murphy; her niece Millie Belltramea; and her sister-in-law Mary Murphy.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell True; her sons, Bill (Janet Fletcher) of Sesser and David (Tina Fletcher) of Mount Vernon; her stepchildren, Cathy (John Munyon) of Woodlawn, Teresa (Wayne Steger) of Woodlawn, Sheila Tackitt of Dix, Patricia (Chris Agos) of Encino, California and Randy True (Cissie Fosse) of West Frankfort; and her sisters-in-law, Thelma Buchanan of Opdyke and Tammy Murphy of Mount Vernon. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; 22 step-great-grandchildren.
