It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn J. Delaney of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Barker and Elsie A. Barker (Walker); her husband Leroy Delaney; her son Alan; her grandson Jason; and her siblings, Linda, Shirley, Sharon and Bob.
She is survived by: her children, Anita C. Hayes (Donald S. Golec) and Robert L. Delaney (Dottie); her grandsons, Adam, Jim, Noah and Justin; her brother Richard Barker; and her close friend Marilyn Barker. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be made in Carolyn's honor to the American Cancer Society.
