Carlos Garrett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2019, at the age of 84, Carlos Garrett (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Livingston, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos O. Garrett and Bertha Garrett (Pryor); his wife Evelyn "Virginia" Kepley; and his siblings, Reuben Garrett and Sue Gregory.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Emerson (Rusty) and Larry Garrett; his grandchildren, Jennifer Busbey (Amos), Cory Mullins, Amanda Garrett and Melissa Walden (Kent); and his siblings, Robert Garrett (Vera), Laura Hunter and Sandra Cooper (Gilbert). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be left to the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church parking lot fund.
