It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bud Hawkins in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulan Hawkins and Cecile Hawkins (Whitlock) of Texico, IL; his brother Gene Hawkins of Mt. Vernon, IL; his son David Hawkins; and his daughter-in-law Janet Hawkins of Clermont, Florida..
He is survived by: his daughter Diane Hawkins of Marietta, GA; his granddaughter Liz Haas (Travis) of Goreville, IL; his great grandchildren, Emma and Frank Haas of Goreville, IL; his sisters, Nellis Estoppey of Centralia, IL and Janice Stone (Tony Rugierro) of Bradenton, FL; his sister-in-law Pat Hawkins of Wheeling, IL; and his friend Dorothy Puckett of Mt. Vernon, IL.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
