He is survived by: his children, Jesse Dean Beasley (Teresa) of Mount Vernon, Richard Dean Taylor (Michaela) of Saint Louis, Missouri and Michelle Hays (Dustin) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Emily Beasley, Trevor Beasley, Andrew Hays and Gabriel Hays; and his siblings, Kenneth Taylor (Devonda "Bonnie") of Mount Vernon, Mark Taylor (Sherry) of Belleville, Donald Taylor of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Victoria Johnson (Jerry) of Mount Vernon and Patricia Woodward (David) of Mount Vernon, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
