It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Jane Kirk-Heifner of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mable Kirk; her brother Douglas Kirk; and her great grandchild Dean Twiggs. She is survived by: her children, Denice Newell (David) of Mount Vernon, Stephanie Baker (Robert) of Pueblo West, Colorado, Denny Dennis (Tina) of Salem, Dickey Dennis of Robinson and Russell Heifner (Deborah) of San Antonio, Texas; her stepsons, Bill Heifner (Twyla) of Fairfield, David Heifner of Fairfield and Donnie Heiner of Wayne City, Illinois; her grandchildren, Eric, Scott, Greg, Jeff, David, Christopher, Josh, Jarod, Laura, Sandra, Heather, Cennedi (Shade Broady), Cassadi, Autumn and Amanda; her stepgrandchildren, Billy, Joshua, Michael, Kyle, Misty, Ashley, Sharis, Brittney, Holly and Melisse; and her siblings, David Kirk (Fay) of Mount Vernon, Scott Bevis (Susan) of Harrisburg, Illinois, Marie Burres (Glenn) of Mount Vernon, Anna Marie McInerney of Bluford and Darlene "Billie Ann" Tedder of Norman, Oklahoma. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
