He was predeceased by: his father Hallie Kniffen; and his brothers, Michael and Gale Dean Kniffen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kniffen (Scrivner); his daughters, Kim Staley (Pete) of Texico and Marty Brumley of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Kylie of Mount Vernon, Kole Brumley of Mount Vernon, Chad Wilson of California and Jessie Staley of Texico, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Marlie Kizer of Mount Vernon and Gunner Brumley of Carbondale, Illinois; and his sister Betty Cullen of Saint Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Billy's honor to First Freewill Baptist Church.
