He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Palmer and Vivian Palmer (McKitrick); and his brother Elwood Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Farmer; his sons, Reif Palmer (Stacey) of Mount Vernon and Brent Palmer (Stephanie) of Mount Vernon; and his granddaughters, ReAnne May (McKenzie) of Evansville and Sara Peas (Ryan) of Mount Vernon.
