It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beulah Mae Gentle (Mount Vernon, Illinois), who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hopkins and Maggie Mae Hopkins (Wilson); her siblings, Pauline Edmison and Harold Lee Hopkins; and her grandson Jason Mowrer.
She is survived by: her former husband Edwin "Ed" Guthrie; her children, Terry Dunkel (Frank) of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Sharon Mowrer (Curt) of Mount Vernon, Illinois and David Guthrie (Ronda) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Shannon Hamlin (Amy), Benjamin Mowrer (Kelli), Jill Koeling (Chris), Kelly Mills (Marty Andy Guthrie), Ashley Higbea, Alicia Snelgrove (Dustin), Frank Guthrie and Jesse Guthrie; her great grandchildren, Levi, Bailey, Kenzie, Aden, Alexa, Jasper, Hallie Jo, Olivia, Taylor, Memphis, Sophie and Zoe; her great great grandchild Leah; and her niece Connie Boyd.
