It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Brockhouse (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Petersburg, Illinois, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hagler and Mary Melissa Hagler (Hoheimer); her husband Ray Quigg Brockhouse; and her brother-in-law Jack Eades. She is survived by: her children, Janet Warren of Mount Vernon, Steve Brockhouse of Aurora and Tim Brockhouse (Tranae) of Opdyke; her grandchildren, Calvin Warren of Mount Vernon, Ashley McCoy of Pennsylvania, Andrew Brockhouse of Pennsylvania, Jordan Brockhouse of Colorado, Walker Brockhouse of Opdyke and Weston Brockhouse of Opdyke; her great grandchild Abbriella McCoy of Pennsylvania; and her sister Mary J. Eades of Springfield.
Memorials may be made in Betty's honor to the Mount Vernon High School Athletic Program.
