She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smith and Ruby Smith (Crews); her brother Mahlon Smith; and her nephew Stephen Smith. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Susan Lucas of Cottage Hills, Sarah Ryan (Mike) of Alton, Illinois, David Smith (Lina) of Charleston and Tom Smith of Alton, Illinois; and her great-nieces, Jamie Douglas of Auburn, Ala and Jillian Phillips of Roxana.
In lieu of Betsy, memorials may be made to the Centralia Humane Society.
