She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry L. Beaird and Maude Leona Beaird (Swise); her son James Mark Ellis; her son-in-law Norman E. Tolley, Jr.; and her siblings, Harriett Luncsford, Annawayne Linck and Harry L. Beaird, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Johnson (Bill) and Susan Smith; her grandchildren, Sean Tolley, Koree Smith (Angela), Julianna Cisneros (Lawrence), Heather Daniels (Craig) and Marissa Mann (Jason); and her sister Shirley Robinson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
