It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Palmer of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harmon Farmer and Mabel Farmer (Williams); her husband Billy Palmer; her sisters, Bonita Allred and Anna Holland; and her stepfather Percy Peterson.

She is survived by: her sons, Reif Palmer (Stacey) of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Brent Palmer (Stephanie) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her granddaughters, ReAnne May (McKenzie) of Newburg and Sara Peas (Ryan) of Port Orange, Florida; and her nieces, Tammy Vance (Ken), Gloria Sutherland (Fred), Tracey Chiquete (Ralph), Debbie Morley (Carl), Kathy Brunson (Brent) and Georgann Mayer (Mark).

Memorials may be made in Barbara's honor to Bethel Memorial Cemetery.
