She was predeceased by: her parents, John Koons and Geneve Reece; her husband Robert Davenport; her nephew Paul Lowther; her sister Joan Lowther; and her nephew Tony Lowther.
She is survived by: her children, David Davenport (Barbara) of West Frankfort, Joan Tate (Mike) of Mount Vernon and Nancy Ross of Nashville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Madeline McCamey (Nick) of Nashville, Heidi Day (Scott) of Ft. Walton Beach, Rebekah Mellen (Chris) of Lowell, MA, Meagan Rich of Johnston City and Colter Tate of Owensboro, Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Carter, Carson, Caroline, Brooks, Tierney, Brenna, Ashley, Cody, Jack and Kate; her niece Barbara "Cissy" Hanagan (Steve) of Mount Vernon; and her great-nieces, India Waite (Logan) and Alexis Vasquez (Eduardo).
Memorials may be made in Barbara's honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital and will be accepted at Hughey Funeral Home at any time.
