She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Reinhardt and Clara Reinhardt (Wernecke); her husband LeRoy Reu; and her sons, Lowell Reu and Robert Reu.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Ann Holding of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Aaron Reu, Ryan Reu (Ashley), Robyn Graham (John), Annette Martin (Rodney), Jeannette Schorfheide (Randy), Elizabeth "Liz" Kleiner (Shad), Jennifer Rice and Janel Mathus (Dale); her daughters-in-law, Kathy Reu of Greenville and Sharon Reu of Mount Vernon; and her siblings, Melvern Reinhardt (Jerry) of Naples, Florida and Alta Chiappone of Syracuse. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
