We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Alvie Burk of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Mena, Arkansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cora Burk; his parents, Ruth Burk (Bodine) and Clarence Edward Burk; his stepfather Carrol Casada; and his siblings, Arnold, Wilbert, James, Leonna and Jewel.
He is survived by: his daughter Catheran Ownes (Darrell) of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Tracy Crouch (Andy) of Salem, Illinois and Terry Owens (Dawn) of Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Chelsea Crouch, Cory Crouch, Zane Owens and Channing Owens. He is also survived by grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Memorials may be made in Joe's honor to the American Legion or Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
