It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allen D. Lingo of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Nason, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Omer Lingo; his granddaughter Barbara Lynn Cavender; and his siblings, William, Warren Lingo and Martha Tylinski.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lingo (Bowman); his children, James Lingo of Georgia, Allen Lingo (Kim) of Georgia, Bobby Lingo (Heather) of Tennessee, Chris Lingo (Kristina) of North Carolina, Sharon Davis (Howard) and Katrina Lingo; and his siblings, James Lingo (Ann) of Sesser, Illinois and Marilyn Vanover of Indiana. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Allen's honor to Abner Cemetery.
