Moore of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Bennett and Lucy (Taylor); her husband Charles Moore of California; and her children, Joyce J. Moore of Stonecrest, GA, Garry Moore (Carmen) of Mt. Vernon, IL, Darlene Moore of Stonecrest, GA, Maurice Moore (Rachel) of Gaston, SC and Aletha "Cheek" Thomas Mt (Cecil). She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
