He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Raleigh and Edna Beatrice Newell (Jones); and his brothers, Herbert Newell and Walter Newell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Newell (Huffstutler); his daughter Sonja Robertson (Stephen) of Port Orange, Florida; his grandchildren, Jenny Pullum, Hayley Robertson and Daniel Robertson; his great grandchildren, Madeline, Mia Jo, Camille, Thomas, Rylee and Zoey; his sister Rosemary Atkins (Tommy) of Mount Vernon; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Newell of Mount Vernon, Sunny Newell of Jasper, Georgia and Loren Huffstutler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Albert's honor to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
