It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Hartley of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loran Hartley and Virdie Hartley (Parrish); his wife Elizabeth Carolyn "Bette" Hartley (Boyer); and his siblings, J. B. Hartley, Sam Hartley, Geri Rogers (Hartley), Teddy Jo Hartley, Curtis Hartley, Jon Hartley and Ella Jean Hartley.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Jones of Benton, Michelle Baker (Dennis) of Collinsville, Scott Hartley of Mount Vernon and Keith Hartley (Marianne) of Denham Springs, Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Max Jones, Evan Jones, Colten Baker and Ty Baker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
