With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Richard Phelps (Mount Vernon, Illinois), who passed away on November 21, 2024 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Floyd, Imogene Phelps, Irene and Emmett Baudendistel. He is survived by: his parents, Stan Phelps (Susan) and Elaine Phelps (Bill Sharp); his sister Amber Schweda (Tony); his nieces and nephews, Tony Schweda, Jr. (Hannah), Tristan Schweda and Adriana Phelps Patton; and his stepsiblings, Lesley (Tom), Carey (Kandi) and Matt (Claire).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alan's honor to The Salvation Army and Family Life Shelter in Mt. Vernon.
