He is survived by: his wife Mary Nancy Ann Wilson; his children, Edward Joseph Schneider (Delia) of Burlingame, Mary Theresa Roegge (Mike) of Quincy, John Thomas Schneider (Lisa) of Chatham, Anne Marie Meisenheimer (David) of St. Charles, Catherine Denise Beebe (David) of Morton, David Gerald Schneider (Shruthie) of Richardson and Elizabeth Yvonne Knowles (Nick) of Macomb; and his brother William "Bill".
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hendricker Funeral Home (406 S Capitol Ave, Mt Sterling, IL 62353). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (401 W North St, Mt Sterling, IL 62353). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Mount Sterling Catholic Cemetery (1037 725 E St, Mt Sterling, IL 62353).
Memorials are suggested to the Knights of Columbus Council 1281, St. Mary's School or Culbertson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
