He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Brooke and Elsie Quinn Dormire; his former wife Bernice Berghaus; his wife Marie A. Henrick Davis; and his siblings, Eugene Dormire, Robert Dormire, John Dormire, Sr., Carol Roberts and Grace Dormire.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Miller (Donald) of Mt. Sterling, David Dormire (Rhonda) of Gulf Breeze, Dennis Dormire (Marcia) of Mt. Sterling, Randy Dormire of Mt. Sterling and Rick Dormire (Kim) of Clayton, Illinois.; his grandchildren, John Miller (Sarah), Sondra Magee (Tommy), James Miller (Shantry), Kristen Peters (Kevin), Trisha Ely (Mike), Cy Dormire (Alexis), Chad Dormire (Jodi), Brooke Robinson (Kyle), Mitch Dormire (Maggie), Austin Dormire (Haley) and Jason Dormire; his great grandchildren, Luke, Aaron, Colby (Brooke), Devin, Brendan, Andrew, Kendall, Brynnli, Bennett, Brielle, Ava, Millie, Izzy and Finley; and his great great grandchild Cooper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch or LaMoine Christian Service Camp.
