She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel W. Newman and Courtney Ruyle Newman; her husband Donald Dean Stephenson; her son Michael Ray Stephenson; and her great grandchild Dawson Dean Stephenson.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Dean Stephenson, Jr. (Margo) of Beardstown and Marcia Kay Dormire (Denny) of Mt. Sterling; her grandchildren, Chad Dormire (Jodi), Brooke Robinson (Kyle), Mitch Dormire (Maggie), Dustin Stephenson (Megan) and Darin Stephenson (Jenn); her great grandchildren, Jayden, Boston, Brynnli, Bennett, Brielle, Ava Rose, Millie, Izzy Rose and Sophie; and her close friend Raymond Metzger.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hendricker Funeral Home (406 S Capitol Ave, Mt Sterling, IL 62353). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at the Oakland Cemetery.
