He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Payne and Helen June Payne (Croxton); and his grandson Jonathan Guyton. He is survived by: his wife Linda "Lynn" McLamar; his daughters, Angie Johnston (Mick) of Boone, April Kunkel (Eric) of Rushville, Anita Torp (Ronny) of Arneberg, Norway, Audra Hampton (Jack) of Huntsville, Alicia Knuth (Willy) of Springfield, Amanda Congdon (Tim) of Mt. Sterling and Abby Flannigan of Rushville; and his siblings, Lyle Payne (Linda) of Macomb, Bob Payne (Anna) of Rosenberg, Mary Manginello (Rick) of Decatur and Linda Fitch (John) of Bushnell. He is also survived by several aunts, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
