He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Patton and Ida Mae Davis Patton; his wife Rosalie Ann Howard; his sons, Michael, Mark and Marty Patton; and his brother Robert Patton.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jesse Patton (Brandi) of Macomb, Kari Chin (Daniel) of Cortland, Rachel O'Keefe (Korey) of Hopedale, Breyden of Mt. Sterling, Illinois. and Liam Patton of Mt. Sterling, Illinois.; and his great grandchildren, Cora, Caleb, Evelyn, Elianna, Christopher Chin, Isaiah, Andrew, Emily Patton, Jacob, Silas and Oliver O'Keefe.
Memorials are suggested to Operation Smile or the Great River Honor Flight.
