He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Angelo Stell and Norma Louise Bowman; his siblings, Michael Lee Bowman, Thomas Brian Stell, Pamela Diane Pineda and Rosemary Bowman; and his uncle Tilford Raymond Bowman (Ramone).
He is survived by: his wife Patty Bowman of Ripley, Illinois.; his children, Bridget Turner of Colchester, James Bowman (Sara) of Rushville, Chad Bowman (Sherry) of Beardstown and Mark Bowman (Velvia) of Ripley, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alex, Gage, Heather, Dereck, Matthew, Logan, Allison, Jasper, Maliki, Nathan, Autumn, Luke, Wyatt and Carson; his great grandchildren, Jace, Eli, Kevin, Carter, Coulton, Jaxon, Bentley and Kash; and his sisters, Dottie Maxwell (Monte) of Beardstown and Melanie Lewis (Rob) of Ripley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ripley Church of God (112 South Ripley Street, Ripley, IL 62353). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Ripley Cemetery (1223 1425 E St, Mt Sterling, IL 62353).
Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with expenses.
