He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zackey and Helen Dambek Zackey; his sister Geraldine Giaimo; and his brothers-in-law, Peter Giaimo and Jerry Gillette.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Zackey of Mt. Sterling; his brother Thomas Zackey of Dalton; his siblings-in-law, Richard Gillette (Gayleen) of Winfield and Sandi Gillette of Indiana; and his nieces and nephews, Casey Giaimo, Debbie Valois, Scott, Robert, Mark, Joseph, Dan Gillette and Stephanie Madlinger.
