She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Francis and Marion Veronica Tepisosky Smith; her husband Melvin Edgar McClelland; her daughter JoAnne Harris; her siblings, John, Joseph II, Donald, Robert Smith and Mildred Lindeman; and her stepbrother Francis Mock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Colgan (John) of Mt. Sterling and Joyce Surratt (Jay) of Meredosia; her grandchildren, Stephen Colgan (Jackie Mwendwa), Christine Moore (Dan), Greg Harris (Sabrina), Ryan Surratt and Matthew Surratt; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Oliver, Samuel, Lilah Moore and Damon Harris; and her brother Richard Smith of Connecticut. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
