We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Ann Brierton (Mount Sterling, Illinois), born in Calhoun, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Wayne and Eva B. Galloway Norton; her siblings, Bill Norton and Maxine Smith; and her brothers-in-law, Dick Joslin and Niles Brierton.
She is survived by: her husband Max Brierton of Mt. Sterling; her children, Michael Brierton (Lisa) of Mt. Sterling and Michelle Babb (Mark) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Kaytlyn Wilson (David) of Des Moines, Caleb Babb of Jacksonville and Zacary Brierton of Mt. Sterling; her sister Pat Joslin of St. Louis Missouri; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Brierton of Mt and Don Smith of Lockport. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The state of Illinois has mandated that those attending the services or visitation must wear a mask.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, Brown County Against Cancer or Brown County Little League.
