He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Junior and Darlene Olatha Clayton Bowen; his former wife Pamela "Susie" Pulse; and his son Richard "Butch" Bowen. He is survived by: his former wife Jacalyn Hyer Brink; his wife Jackie Bowen of Mt. Sterling; his children, Carol Jean Harris (Chad) of Springfield, Sarah Ann Moore (Chris) of Rushville, Douglas Alan Bowen (Mandy) of Mt. Sterling and David Michael Brink of Mt. Sterling; his brother Larry Bowen (Susan) of Mt. Sterling; his grandchildren, Kayla, Caleb, Danielle, Taylor, Avery, Harrison, Theo and Charles Butch; and his mother-in-law Marjorie Hyer of Quincy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
