We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2019, at the age of 93, Shirley Jean Singley (Mount Pulaski, Illinois), born in Rockford, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elmer Smith and Lena Smith (Logan); her husband Melvin E. Singley; her daughters, Rebecca Drake (John) of Chestnut and Jane DeWitt of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Andrea Manner, Deirdra Drake (Bryan Copeland) and Andrew DeWitt; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Scassiferro, Sebastion Scassiferro, Abigail Manner, Brenna Avery DeWitt and Amelia SuzAnne DeWitt; her siblings-in-law, Helen Singley of Lincoln, Rose Singley of Topeka, IL and Robert Singley of Mountain Home, AR.; and her son Rev. Todd Singley.
Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
