It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard G. Stewart (Mount Pulaski, Illinois), born in Niantic, Illinois, who passed away on June 1, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William John and Mildred Fern Stewart (Beck); his wife Clara A. Ramlow; and his brothers, Gary, Jerry and Mark.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Collins (Gene) of Mt. Pulaski and Stacy Rentmeister (Jason Evers) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Devon Sutton (Alyssa) of Lincoln, Harley Collins of Mt. Pulaski, Eryn Leever (Chase Wright) of Chestnut, Erika Applegate (Nathan) of Lincoln, BreAnna Rentmeister (Evan Applegate) of Lincoln, Je'Na Rentmeister of Mt. Pulaski, Alec and Rachel Evers of Rochester; and his siblings, Kenny Stewart of Illiopolis, Ronald Stewart (Mary) of Mt. Pulaski, Delmar Stewart (Sue) of Mt. Pulaski, Dennis Stewart of Mt. Pulaski and Janice Cook of Mt. Pulaski. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to the Lake Fork Community Center or the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church.
