He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Helton and Gertrude Helton (Gimbel); his spouse Shelby Kitzmiller; his children, Scott Ray, Debora Millett (Bill), Denise Sabo (Rick), Carol Spear (Marty), Sarah Spear, Cheryl Lee (Jimmie), Byron Helton (Doris), Cori Herndon (Jody), Michael Prewitt (Donna) and Austin Pruitt; and his siblings, Theron "Randy" Helton (Alyce) and Toni Drees. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
