We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Dorene Mae Craig Smith of Mount Pulaski, Illinois, born in Minier, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Lee and Hilda Kathleen Craig (Brittain); her spouse Jesse Lee Smith; and her sisters, Orvetta Tucker, Juanita Keim and Alverne VanOrman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lee Ann Baum of Fort Mill, SC, Jodie Ayers (Danny) of Mt. Pulaski, Dawn Hahn of Lindenhurst, IL and Peggy Bateman (Kevin) of Lincoln, IL; her grandchildren, Abagail, Sarah, Erica, Austin, Zachary, Ethan, Brooke, Evan, Riley and Carly; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Landon, Lukas, Wyatt, Jesse, Averie, Henry, Harlyn, Eugene and Elliette.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from (9:00-11:00am) also at the funeral home (Where face masks and social distancing will be enacted).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Dorene's name to Steenbergen Cemetery for their Memorial Day Veteran Flags.
