Mardis of Mount Pulaski, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Mardis and Dorothy Mardis (Goetsch); his wife Sheila Rae Wilham; his sister Judy Coogan; and his great-nephew Caleb Coogan.

He is survived by: his stepson Jerod Fults of Lincoln; his stepgranddaughter Kat Long of Decatur, IL; his nephew J. C. Coogan (Joyce) of Mt. Pulaski; his niece Teena Lowery (Doug) of Mt. Pulaski; his brother-in-law Jim Boy Coogan; and his nephews, Cady Lowery of Colorado Springs, CO, Michael Lowery of Mt. Pulaski and Claire Coogan of Mt. Pulaski.

Memorial donations may be made in Clarence's name to The Caleb Coogan Memorial Fund.
