He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Rosaleen P. Mills; his sons, Richard Mills (Barbara), Ronald Mills and Randall Mills (Laura); his grandchildren, Nathan, Hannah and Logan; and his siblings, Janet Paluch (Tim) and Charles Mills.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
