Nicholas Mischenko Obituary
The memory of Nicholas Mischenko of Mount Prospect, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Valentina; his children, Elizabeth Pawlyk (Mark), Anatole "Tony" Mischenko (Natalia) and Katya Mycyk (George); his grandchildren, Daniel Pawlyk (Talin), Victoria Pawlyk, Christina Pawlyk, Isabella Mischenko, Nicholas Mischenko, Valentina Mycyk and Anastasia Mycyk; and his siblings, Olga Stryzakowski (late Ivan), George Mischenko (Victoria), Peter Mischenko (Irina), John Mischenko (Maria) and Grace Krasno. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Humes Funeral Home (320 W Lake St, Addison, IL 60101). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (300 Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108).
