It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marzio J. Dante of Mount Prospect, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marzio J. Dante to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his wife Arline D. Dante; his children, Mark Dante (Vicki) and Marline Fulton (Tim); his grandchildren, Derreck, Samantha, Brian, Troy and Autumn; and his siblings, Luciano and Luciana. He is also survived by uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matz Funeral Home - Mt. Prospect (410 E Rand Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. Zachary Parish (567 W Algonquin Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60018). An entombment was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or the Alzheimers Foundation, based on the donators choice.
