He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Piombino and Lilla Piombino; his mother-in-law Rose Ferrington; his sister Lena; his brother-in-law Frank Territo; his nephew Joseph Territo; his cousins, Rudolph Piombino, Joseph Bivona, Mario Rovetto, Giuseppe Sacco (Pino) and Salvatore Grassadonia; and his uncle Babe.
He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, John Piombino (Rhonda) and Lisa Wilson (late John F. Wilson III); his grandchildren, Natalie Rose Quezada (Veronica) and Ean Joseph Wilson; his brother John Piombino (late Theresa); his niece Connie Vanhootegem (late Jim); his nephews, Joseph Piombino (Debbie) and Michael Piombino (Gail); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Julie Voehringer (late Mark), Daniel Piombino, Samantha Piombino, Kristin, Robert and Kaitlin Piombino. He is also survived by his parents, brother and sister, carried over into his own family.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Wayside Church (432 W Park St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005). A reception was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Wayside Church (434 W Park St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005).
