He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bruckman and Vivian Bruckman; and his wife Bernadine Bruckman. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Bruckman (Barbara Bonno), Jeremy Bruckman, Kimberly Brizzolara (Nicholas) and Ashley Bruckman; his granddaughter Lucia; and his sister Sharon Zinthefer (Linus).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home (1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
